We are seeking a focused Welder who is driven and results oriented.


Anova is a 42 year old company, based in St. Louis, MO with a second location in Winona, MN. Anova has a strong history of manufacturing and distributing the finest site furnishings in the industry. The Welder associate is responsible for welding and fabricating of outdoor furniture products. The position involves MIG welding activities, plasma cutting, punching, bending, drilling and other metal working processes.


  • To make safety their number one priority and to understand and follow company safety policies and rules.
  • To set up and operate MIG welders, roll formers, benders, rollers, grinders, plasma torches, press brake, and other metal fabricating equipment.
  • To be able to produce parts and components to the necessary quality standards established.
  • Read blueprints, kanban cards, or work orders and follow through with processes set forth.
  • Participate and be active in your teams efforts to continuous improvement..
  • To be able to learn and follow Lean Manufacturing principles including kanban processes and flow manufacturing.
  • Learn and participate in the 5S program.


While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, twist, crouch, use hands to finger, handle, feel, talk or hear, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must regularly lift, push, pull or more up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust to focus.


While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to dust, fumes, or airborne particles. The associate is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and machinery. The noise level in the work environment is loud; hearing protection, safety glasses and steel-toed boots are required at all times. Auto-shielding helmets are required.


High school graduate or equivalent plus 1 - 3 years of training in fabrication and welding is required. Experience in a production environment or equivalent is also needed. Basic math skills and the ability to read measurements using different measurement tools is necessary. Critical skills include: attention to detail, ability to follow directions, initiative, continuous improvement, and adaptability. Teamwork and participation skills are also required.
